Installed VMS9 from the new CD, registered, etc. However I could not open some AVCHD files originally from my Canon HF100. More important, in a way, is that my existing install of VMS6 no longer could open any files, and my Nero 8 also was crashing, even on .avi and .mpg files. It would seem VMS9 is "updating" .dlls or something. Does VMS need to be the only editing program on the computer?

(I did a restore, BTW, and original programs worked fine.)

Any help or insight is much appreciated - looing forward to the VMS 9 experience...
