VMSP Titling

Is this capability severly lacking or is it just me? I guess VMSP is so nice that I expected to at least be able to format every text line independent of the others (different color, different features). Also, the animation and the "look and feel" of the available text presets is amazingly elementary. Even ProDad in Pinnacle is head and shoulders above VMSP. Am I missing something or do I need titling software?

Sorry Fil, but VMS is well known for it's horrible text/titling capabilities (or lack there of). In Vegas Pro they finally stepped it up a bit, but we are still waiting for a bone here in VMS land. A lot of people here use 'Bluff Titler', but it sucks that Sony gives us a program that is barely one step ahead of 'Note Pad.' Cin

If you are using proDAD products, you can upgrade Heroglyph for example, for use in Vegas Movie Studio. Just contact proDAD customer support and you they may even surprise you with a discount code. There are also frequent discount codes available on http://declic-video-fx.com/ that can be used for proDAD software in other NLE's other than your former one.
