Hi all!

Quick question, I tried to import a .VOB file I riped from a DVD in VV3. The file showed up as a "Main Concept MPEG 2" file, (as expected) but when I tried to open it, VV3 just crashed!!!

What's going on here then? do I need to rename the .VOB as a .MPG, or does the file need something doing to it in order to open it?

Any help would be great. THANKS

FYI/ Macrosplat has been removed.

What you need to do is get Vfapi and DVD2Avi at http://www.divx-digest.com/software
Then go to this link for the guide: http://www.vcdhelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm

It'll tell you what to do but only read it up until it says open TMPG because you don't need it and Vegas is SO much more flexable. You'll basically get 2 files one for the video and one for audio.
Open them both one under the other at vegas and create your movie!
