VideoFactory doesn't set any levels for you automatically.

If you use the volume fader in the track header, it will affect the entire track and all the audio files you placed in that track. This probably isn't what you want to do. If you need to adjust the volumes for the different files individually then you have to use the "blue line" volume control for each event.

Each audio track has its own Fader on the left side. You can adjust the overall volume of that track using that fader. Then use the Master fader, at the bottom to adjust the volume of all audio.

You can use nodes on the blue line to adjust individual areas of the sound. For instance, you need to drop the level of the music temporarily for a Sound effect or voice over.

Also, by grabbing the blue triangles on the audio clips, you can fade it in or out. Handy if there's a big difference between them and you don't want a jump transition.
