Volume adjusting

I have music playing in my video, but want to place a "voice over"...in the middle of a tune. Is there a way to lower the volume for just a "portion" of a tune and then return to normal volume, so the voice over can be heard clearly. I am using VMS6. If not, can this be done in other versions?

I think you've posted on the wrong forum. DVDA does not allow changing volume, but I'm sure you can do what you want in VMS.
