Volume adjusting

I have music playing in my video, but want to place a "voice over"...in the middle of a tune. Is there a way to lower the volume for just a "portion" of a tune and then return to normal volume, so the voice over can be heard clearly. I am using VMS6. If not, can this be done in other versions?

Just to the left of you music track, right click insert, then select either volume of pan... and a line will appear were you can add points to adjust volume an/ or both. So you can adjust volume and pan speakers right or left, in all autio tracks.
