Volume Control

Can I raise the volume of 1 audio clip while not affecting the others on the same track? I can lower easy enough by pulling down the line (whatever you guys call that), but I don't know how to raise a specific section. Thanks for your help in advance.

SOOO Sorry. I did not even try your suggestion before I replied. IT WORKS!! GREAT !!. THANKS SOO MUCH. I had been splitting constantly and stepping the volumes up but it was jerky. Now it is so smooth and great control. If I press "V" again it will still hold my setting, right?. Thanks again for your help.

Julie, You can also right click on an Event goto switches and select "normalize", this will bring that event up to maximum level "pre-fader" lever of that track. Probably if you had normalized you would have noticed the need to then lower the level using the line volume on the event, thus that's why it starts at 0dB and is only allowed to go down in volume to prevent digital distortion.
