Volume envelope curve follows music track

Last night I did some my wedding video editing using Vegas 5. I had volume envelope turned on to boot up voice of some events on the voice track.After editing , I locked the video and voice track and then did reposition some music on my music track. I do not know why when I dragged the music event along the music track , the volume envelope curve kept following my music events on the music track. Is there any way to lock it ? I already locked the original voice track already.

If you want to move events without moving the envelopes, turn off Lock Envelopes to Events (there's a button on the toolbar).

If I turn off the envelope does it effect my previously edited voice event on the original voice track ?

Try it and find out. You can always undo changes.
