Volume matching

I've just done an interview editing the clips in Vegas Pro 8. I added a Cinescore sound track and carefully balanced the music so as to not over-ride the dialogue. However, when I import the project into DVDA, I found I could not lower the music volume used for the menu pages, also done with Cinescore. Is there a mixer master fader I've missed?

No, you haven't missed anything in DVDA. Lower the volume in Vegas before rendering the file.

I couldn't go back to Vegas as I had the levels set at 0db. So I dropped the DVDA menu audio clips into Sound Forge and lowered the volumes there. All balanced now. Thanks for the input
