VP 20 Screen Recording/Capture - No Audio

I tried VP20 screen recording/capture for first time today and while I can record video screens I am not getting sound. Ideally I would like to be recording audio from mic into my MOTU M4 interface as well as sound from what is happening on screen on computer. I am getting no sound. I have tried various input settings in the Audio Device panel of Vegas settings. The only time I see signal is if I move the Windows volume slider, then the screen capture registers signal.

I am not familiar with the MOTU M4 interface. You might try 'recording-what-you-hear' from your PC's internal soundcard. Many Realtec soundcards have a 'Stereo mix' record setting which would set in the PC's sound settings. Some PCs cannot 'record-what-you-hear' inherently. I used VB-CABLE, (a virtual audio device cable) for a Toshiba PC I had that could not record the soundcard's output.

I'm long done using those virtual cable things etc and bought the MOTU specifically for it's internal loopback capabilities. I installed OBS and it works fine. The issue appear to be Vegas needs to add better / more input capabilities. Hopefully in time they do.
