VP code saying that it is incorrect

my code says that it is incorrect even though I have a spot open for registration. I just performed a factory reset on my computer and tried to reinstall vegas pro 18 & 20 and now the program is saying incorrect code even though I have an open slot on my account I tried registering several times and same error code. Even after I reboot the computer/program/browser etc.

Try copying and pasting the serial number/activation code from either the original email that provided it or from your Magix account, rather than typing it in.

You must use your account's email address as well when activating. The email address you use the log-in to the Vegas forums could be different.
