Happy (reasonably) VP10 user here, been using VP since v8 without (too many) problems. But something just started happening I can't figure out. When I put some SD mp4's on my HD timeline the audio skips and stutters as if it's being fast-forwarded (in fact audio ends about halfway through the video clip). If I play the clip outside Vegas it works fine. I used a utility to convert the mp4 into a wmv and it worked fine in the timeline, so at least I could finish my project.

I've tried searching the forum but I don't see anything directly related. I did try turning off resampling (per a related suggestion) but it didn't help. I have not changed anything in my environment (that I know of...there could have been a "stealth" update somewhere) and some mp4's work, others don't.

VP10e (32 bit)
Intel i7, 6MB RAM (Dell XPS)

Any ideas out there in Vegas land?
