VP14 Compositing button missing

Moving from VP13 to VP14 I find the compositing button missing. Manual/pdf shows it to LHS of video track as per VP13; however it is missing.

Is there a hidden menu that would allow VP14 to replicate VP13.

Be sure your track header is big enough because icons start to disappear if the track header becomes too small.

Been away from Vegas for a while. Should have said VP12 not 13. A search in the manual under 'child' was more helpful than 'parent'.
