Starting to edit heavy in 15. But after about 10 - 15 minutes, it seems to slow to a crawl. I usually save and restart at that point, and if I don't it ends up locking and crashing. My 13, 14 never acted like this on same hardware. 32GB ram always seemed fine, no other applications react like this. I'm editing 4K footage, but that is not new and 13, 14 handled it without flinching. My system runs very clean, I do PC support for a living.

Anyone else have this slwo downs over time?

I will generally end up with 10-20 video tracks, and 5- 100 audio tracks depending on project. This one is at 3, and pull up effects to adjust looks like 1980's "CGI" - a pixel at a time.
