VP16 - Bezier Masking - Automated Tracking - Clips on TImeline

I need some understanding of the workflow when you have several clips on a timeline and you have to apply Bezier Masking with Automated Tracking in VP 16.

Scenario 1 = Only one masked object in a clip to be tracked
Scenario 2 = Two faces or objects in a clip to be tracked.

If I was just working with a single clip on a track, it would be easy to just duplicate the tracks twice and apply the Bezier Masks and Pixelate FX to each clip on its own track.

What do you do if you need to apply both FX to say clip 5 on the track? Does that clip have to be copied itself and placed on a new track so that the cursor can start at the beginning when you apply the tracking? I've tried doing this by just duplicating the whole track and applying the FX from the beginning of the clip. But the FX doesn't know to stop at the end of the clip and keeps going down the timeline of clips.

If any of this makes sense to someone, Please let me know what the proper workflow should be.

Thx

Jay

@JayMitchell-Steinbrecher - Hi! So you want a type of Witness Protect or Face Obscurer? Yes?

I know how to duplicate a track and apply a Bezier Mask with VP16 Automatic Tracking to single face and Pixelate it when it is a stand-alone clip on a track. My issue is two-fold. If there is a second face within the same clip that needs to be blurred, Do I have to work from "another duplicated" track and apply the same FX? Or, is there a workflow for performing a second Bezier Mask / Automated Tracking and Pixelation on the same clip? I have not been able to get the to work, even after selecting "mask 2" in he Bezier Settings. So, I have been making two duplicated tracks to make this work.

Next problem is if I am working with multiple clips on a track, and some of the clips require Bezier Masking as described above, --- Do those clips themselves have to be duplicated and stacked on top of each other as separate tracks to perform these tasks to the required clips. I just do not understand if their is a better workflow. I have not found a tutorial for what I am trying to do.

So, you're using the new Tracking feature in VP16? Yes?

OK, I have to say I'm not experiencing much affection for it, but there has to be others hereabouts who've created outcomes similar to your wishes.

As you have found VP16 is supposed to be able to track up to five different masks on one video track. There is a useful tutorial in this thread. Although it it about tracking text the principles shown are the same and instead of adding the extra text tracks you can just add duplicate tracks with added pixelation effects.
