VP16 Build 424 - event level Bezier Masking and Pan/Crop interaction

I've been using a combination of Bezier Masking (BM) and Pan/Crop to, for instance, create a screen divided into three sections, with different events running in each. I've noticed that, at times, adjusting the Pan/Crop will adjust values within the BM parameters - particularly the Location coordinates. On one occasion the whole combination appeared to 'stick' - couldn't seem to get a full length column no matter what I tried - and my only way out was to delete BM from the effects chain, re-add it and start again.

The problem is intermittent (i.e. I haven't yet tracked it down to a particular action within BN or Pan/Crop) and is, so far, fixable so I'm not inclined to gather detailed diagnostics - at this stage I'd just be interested to hear if anyone else is experiencing similar.

Did you try setting Pan/Crop after Bézier Masking in the signal flow?

Not quite sure what you mean Marco:

If you mean adjusting Pan/Crop (P/C) after Bezier Masking (BM) then the answer is Yes, in most cases I set up the BM and then played with the P/C. But not always - e.g. one occurrence of the problem I describe came after I'd done BM, P/C but then decided I wanted to move a left hand column to the centre, so I did a further BM, P/C.

If you're asking if I've tried putting P/C after BM in the effects chain then No - didn't even know I could move the Pan/Crop out of first position - actually can't think of a reason why I would move it (unless it fixes this!)

I actually find this area of sequencing effects in the chain to be a bit of a mystery. The same project has involved matching output from a C100, a GH5, a GH5S and two different models of GoPro - so I've been doing a load of wrestling with colour matching, particularly as I've been so unwise as to line up n camera's worth of output side by side in columns. I won't relive the last week of work for you, but there have been occasions when I've moved effects around in the chain and have not noticed the different order having any effect. I'd be very interested to hear if you have any evidence of the order in the chain making a difference.
