VP17 : ALT+LeftMouse Drag Not Seeing Split Screen Preview?

Grazie wrote on 9/8/2019, 3:56 PM

In VP16 I get a Twin Screen Preview showing the Beginning and End of Event being adjusted. Not so in VP17 just a stretched out Frame - odd..

Please confirm or deny.

TIA - G

BEFORE: ALT+Left Mouse Drag

AFTER: ALT+Left Mouse Drag

There is no TWIN Preview I get in VP16.

TIA - Grazie

And in VP16 it is working as it should as a DUAL Preview:

I use this all the time when trimming. I want it back in VP17 - please. 🙏

@Sylk - Yes, I’ve been doing exactly that through all my Testing and I still can’t get two Previews to show, only this daft elongated View. Working correctly in VP16.

Vegas does 2 phases when you hold down and move; 1 stretch preview, 2 divide preview

2 phases when you hold up; 1 resize preview, 2 undivide preview

Yours do only the phases 1

@Sylk - But only in VP17? VP16 is fine.

@Grazie solution found or just unbug?

@Sylk - Neither . . . I had inadvertedly assigned Ctrl+Shift+O to activate HOS KWIK Preview, and not appreciating that:

1] This was/is assigned already to "Video Event Edge Edit Frames".

2] Whilst using my new Shortcut, Ctrl+Shift+O, would also turn off the Split Screen Preview for 1] above.

Ugh.

@Sylk - thanks for your concern - storm in a cuppa!
