VP17 HDR video won't show in preview with SLI unless HW Acc. Disabled

I have troubleshooted this problem fairly thoroughly and have decided that the problem I have is SLI Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics cards. I have even disabled SLI and ran the program in Single Card Mode (Nvidia Control Panel) but the problem persists (2 cards still in and both show in the program under hardware acceleration). Due to how it works with my laptop, I believe I would have to physically take one card out for this to work.

NOTE: This PC setup works fine with Vegas Movie Studio 15 Platinum and DVD Architect 7.

The problem is that my HLG 4k HDR file (full MediaInfo at the bottom) will not show in the preview window with my PC with SLI Nvidia GTX 1080s (founders editions) with driver version 431.60 but it will show if I disable GPU hardware acceleration.

I have tried the same file on my laptop and the preview is fine (i7-9750h; RTX 2070; 32GB RAM: Samsung 970 Evo M.2 NVME 512GB).

It renders perfectly on both systems but it just won't show in the preview with the PC with SLI.

Regular HEVC 4k60p 200Mb/s 8 bit video preview plays fine on the SLI computer.

My PC build is:

Windows 10 x64 update 1903

i7-8700k @ 4.3Ghz

Nvidia GTX 1080 founders edition SLI (2x)

32GB RAM @ 3600Mhz

Samsung 970 Evo M.2 NVME 512GB

Camera: Panasonic AG-CX350

Setting: HDR HLG 10 bit BT.2020 with 4k HEVC 200Mb/s

Good job with the proper bug report. Your project settings could also prove useful on their end when it comes it isolating the cause, so please provide those.

Systems:

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8 core 16 thread at stock speed

64GB 3000mhz DDR4

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10

Laptop:

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 32GB (9980HK CPU, RTX 2060 GPU, dual 4K touch screens, main one OLED HDR)

How do I do that? Is it just the save file or is there something I have to copy/paste?

EDIT: You mean this?
