VP17 Nested Timeline doesn't work for me

Hello,

I often use nested timelines importing *.veg files into the timeline even there was no special button for it. Normally, it works well for me (the old way), but always I try to use the new special buttons "Create Nested Timeline" or "Open Nested Timeline", it hangs Vegas. Has anybody experienced this? There I have a short video example here.

Those two options are added.
You can use as normal a "nested"veg as you always did.
Read in the manual what a nested time line means to be.

Thank you for your reply. I know what Nested Timeline function is and how it works. But it just doesn't work for me in the promoted way. Have you seen the video? It can't create a Nested Timeline without crash even from 1 event, nor from many of them selected in the timeline. It crashes VEGAS every time I try it. Yes, I can open a separate instance of VEGAS (and I really do open many instances and it works), but it doesn't work as it should by the new buttons. This is what this post is about.

And yes, I have Vegassaur extension, so I can even use it, but the solution is to have the promoted function without fatal errors.

Nested timeline should make our editing job easier. But VEGAS just making it unreliable

No idea what the reason is with you.
When I do it on my laptop it gives no problem and does as written in the "Help": the programs saves it and start again with that nested track veg loaded.

I confirm!

Most crashes are with UHD files DJI AVC 2720x1530 50fps
For example, 2 events are ok, and on the third event, Vegas crashes, and next time it's different.

If you receive an error message, submit it.

What files do you use?
