Found an old thread about this. Anyone with the new 17 have it?
skipping around in preview (system is optimized, and this works great in 15) and I know it has to catch up a little from time to time, but it is getting STUCK blinking the "wait" dots for which frame it is on.

Happens multiple times in a 3 minutes short I am working on.
I'd started the short in VP15, so it is mostly a direct comparison: same edit, same clips
15 runs fine, 17 hangs up searching for the next frame SOMETIMES.

It's not my drive, it works fast and fine in 15, same computer.

Anyone else running into this and is there a fix somehow?
