VP23, frame indicators in transitions

I previously posted about how the timeline is only accounting for 29 frames in the header. I sorted that out by changing the view. However, the frame count is still set for 29 fps when I am sliding events to create cross fades or transitions. I generally slide the event 28 frames in to do my transitions. But if I go beyond that in VP22, it will slide 58 frames before changing to 1 second. However in VP 23, I can only go as high as 28 frames before it changes to 1 second. But the kicker is, it's actually doubling the amount of frames between the transition. If I set the transition to 28 frames, it's actually 1 second long. I have to cut the number in half in VP23. In other words, I have to set the transitions to 14 seconds in VP23 in order to acheive the same length of the transition as 28 frames in VP22. I work with 60p video,so I depend on the higher frame count.

Am I missing something in the settings?

What are your ruler settings?

That was the issue, I had changed it to Time & Frames yesterday, but somehow today, it switched back to SMPTE Drop (29.97 FPS, Video). Maybe it crashed after I changed it, so the change didn't stick. I changed it back to Time & Frames then exited the program and restarted it. We'll see ...
