This is praise for a small fix in VP9
I've said a few times that I was on the fence about buying VP9 right away but today I ran into an annoying problem with VP8 and realized there was no point in complaining to SCS about VP8. There won't be any fixes.
So, in order to complain I'd have to ante up or shut up. No big deal since I figured this'd be the outcome sooner or later. I went ahead and bought VP9.
The problem: VP8 can't remember where I saved my veg file a few minutes ago and offers to save it with the still frames I just exported. It has no trouble remembering where I saved the stills so obviously the problem is fixable.
So I migrated the project to VP9 and I'm happy to report that Vegas remembers where the Veg files were saved and where the images were saved, and it doesn't try to mix them up.
Way to go SCS!
