I see people posting here with various VST issues but not quite like this - - -
Running V6 -
It's been a while since I have used Vegas for a heavy audio project. Up to three years ago using the same 3MHz P4 w 2G Ram and XP SP2 I had no problem running various VST processors on multiple tracks and output. Now just using one VST leads to intermittent and frequent Vegas crashing. These are new VSTs - IK Multimedia TRacks and Amplitube Gtr processor, Voxengo, Speakerphone and Izotope Ozone. I no longer have the older VSTs I used to use to be able to compare.
-- I also have the problem on my notebook with V6.
-- Also tried a demo of V9 with the same results.
-- These plugs work fine in Ableton on same machines

Is anyone else having these issues ?

I still regard Vegas as the easiest editor in the biz and so would like to continue working with it
