Using Vegas Pro 15, Build 321

Hi

I'm having a big issue using VST Plugin with Vegas Pro 15.

This is a great example of what is happening,

Its unusable when I use WAVES C1.

It doesn't happen on all my computers, I thought it might be a RAM issue, but the YouTube guy has 32Gb, so it can't be that.

Has anyone had the same issue and found a fix?

Regards

Gary

This issue has been going on since Vegas 11 (64bit). I've tried each upgrade, but still use 11 (32bit) because of this issue. None of the waves plugins (or other VST 64bit plugins) works properly. Sony never acknowledged this, but Magix has, and have promised a fix at some point. Unsure if they've done that yet. Search further and you'll find LOTS of comments on this issue. jmm

Thanks for the reply.

I noticed it with Wave Arts but they still were usable. But I am not able to use Waves at all.

I hope they come up with a fix soon.

It's true most VST plug-ins don't work properly since 64bit came out. I'm glad to hear Magix has acknowledged this issue at least, it's true Sony never bothered. What's promising is Acid Pro 8 came out and is now 64bit and supports VST3 plug-ins. I used the trial and it seems 64bit plug-ins now work as expected with no glitching. This is a big deal for me to have plug-ins working well in Vegas, so I'm hopeful as well.

That does sound promising that they are committed to fixing the issue. Thanks for letting me know about Acid Pro 8.

Any news on the VST plugin issue being fixed, has it been fixed?

For me at least, VSTs are still pretty janky. Though I haven't heard anything about improvement so I haven't really done any comparing to previous versions.
