I have done a fresh XP Professional SP2 install on my new Lenovo 3000 V200 notebook. Now Vegas 7.0e doesnt see my vst plugins. 8.0c which I have also installed has no problems with my vst plugins. And yes, I still need version 7 to maintain compatibility with my colleague`s computer.
Just to check I deinstalled 7.0e and installed 7.0a and the vst plugins are there and can be used.
My XP installation was an unattended nlite install with many of XP's standard junk components removed. Can that be the culprit? Which would still leave me wondering why the vst plugins work in version 7.0a and 8.0c...
