VST trouble

I'm sure some of the more experienced users here have dealt with problems like these, and I would like to know if there is a consistent and reliable way to fix this.

The issue: I have a lot of VST plugins, both 32bit and 64bit. I have a certain film project where I use lots of them. Yesterday, I installed Ozone 7 and RX Final Mix. That seems to have affected all OTHER PLUGINS. Namely, when I try to open the project, I get LOTS of error messages like these two, concerning almost all VST plugins:

"Plug-in: 'lalalala' failed to load. Please make sure the plug-in is properly installed." - I'm POSITIVE it is properly installed.

"The user preset for Plug-in 'blablabla' could not be loaded. The default settings have been restored."

Also, when I tried to refresh the VST plugins, I got LOADS of error messages telling me that certain plugins are not properly installed. But get this: after simply removing, from the Steinberg folders, the dll's of the slow loading VSTs (namely RX6 and Neutron), and doing the refresh again:
NO MORE ERROR MESSAGES ON THE REFRESH. All those other plugins are now magically properly installed and working. Furthermore, if I don't close VEGAS, and I just add the dll's back to the Steinberg folder and do a refresh again, surprise - no more error messages on the refresh.

Unfortunately, upon opening the project, I do still get a few "The user preset for Plug-in 'blablabla' could not be loaded. The default settings have been restored." messages. Fewer, and now at least the plugins load, but I can hardly understand why this is happening, and why I need to do these acrobatics to simply be able to use my VSTs.

My guess is that this has to be some kind of a memory problem? I'm also guessing not a RAM problem, since I do have 32GB of RAM, and the project, when opened, does not exceed 20-22 GB. Is there a setting, maybe an internal setting that can solve these issues?

What I know is that, before installing Ozone 7 and RX Final Mix (which I have since uninstalled), all the aforementioned plugins used to work. I did use to get a few "user preset" error messages, but it took opening the project multiple times to get them to go away. Which again points this to be some kind of a memory problem. Now, the error messages are constant...

Help? :(

In case someone else comes across this problem, here is a SOLUTION: Reinstalling the iZotope plugins is not enough. It seems some registry data was corrupted. Upon manually deleting all iZotope products references from the registry, and then re-installing the products, I could restore the VSTs to a mostly error-free working condition. Glad I could sort this out.
