I do not know for sure, but my best bet is that Vegas does not need it (nor uses it). Correct me if I am wrong Magix devs. I base this assumption on the fact that VT is disabled by default in BIOS on a lot of motherboards, although recent AMD and Intel processors will support it ( AMD-V and Intel VT). It is a requirement for many virtual machine software (obviously). Feel free to enable it in your motherboard's BIOS (if not already so).

I tried to install Vegas Pro 15 and when I started I was informed that I needed VT.


PS I just have a processor that does not support VT

Vegas Pro 14 does not require and works fine
