VV 3.0 Closes On Its Own after Error Message

I'm not sure EXACTLY what I am doing in Vegas Video 3.0 when this happens. But it happens A LOT.

I get an error message that says "AN ERROR OCURRED DURING THE CURRENT OPERATION. AN EXCEPTION HAS OCCURRED." At that point, I can click "details" or "ok" in the error window. When I click "OK", Vegas closes completely and immediately. I then have to search for the autosaved project and resume editing. Any suggestions? Or should I contact support? Thanks for your time.

When this error happens again, I will write down as much information as possible.
