VV 3 Snapping Bug/Problem?

Am I missing something? Or is this a bug?

When editing audio in Vegas 3, I can't seem to turn off the "Snapping" function. I turn off the "Enable Snapping" button, and it indicates to me that it is off, yet when sliding the edges of my audio they still are snapping...not sliding freely like in VV2.

Any thoughts? Thanks!
Rob

You probably have 'Quantize To Frames' turned on. Turn it off with 'Alt+F8' or tru the options menu.

yeah, that quantise to frames thing had me confused for a while! especially because I don't run any video, and couldn't work out what it was snapping to!

That was it. That's an interesting feature. While annoying for audio editing, I can see its benefit for my scoring and sound design work.

Thanks!
