VV 3b Analogue Capture Headache

Why is my VV 3b only capturing 2 or second clips? I can play those very short clips back, with sound and picture but they are of no use.

Capture Preferences > Capture tab - check that you don't have something like 2 secs in Maximum Capture length.

Also, if you're capturing analogue via pass thru cam or converter, make sure Device Control is disabled.
