With the original VV 3.0 release, previewing several different file formats would freeze VV within the Media Pool. With the 3.0a update, this problem was fixed. However, now I am having intermittent VV crashes when I preview some of my sound files (some MP3 and some WAV) within the EXPLORER. It does not happen with all of my sound files, just certian ones (dozens)--which play just fine when dropped into VV. My only workaround is to turn autopreview off and pull the sound into the track to view (a real hassle).

This has happened since the 3.0a. Anyone else getting similar crashes?

If this is common, when is 3.0b going to be released?
