I've used TMPGenc for the past year to write pretty decent hi bit (2150) rate VCDs (XVCD). My initial attemps to write hi bit rate using the MPEG plug in with VV3 have not worked. (I think thec standard bit rate settings look pretty bad!)
I've set the mpeg encoder to the same settings that I see for writing a standard VCD but with the bit rate at 2150....however I get a noncompliant file, not because of the bit rate, but because NERO says it is "stream encoded."
Has anyone figured out what settings to use with the supplied encoder?
Yes, I know I can render after editing out to AVI and then use TMPGenc, but I was hoping to save a few steps!!!
