There aren't a lot of "plug-ins" for Vegas---Sonic released a group that is terrific and worth the money. Spicemaster makes an excellet effect and transition set that you should really consider. Beyond that, what I do is use After Effects for everything that Vegas can't do---the combo works wonders. Until Sonic gains a bigger market share, you probably won't see much in terms of Plug-ins.

I could be mistaken but on the audio-side, the Sound Forge plugins may be applicable.
