VV3 Render for DVDit LE

I've been unable to render a file from VV3 that runs in DVDit LE (v2.3). I've tried both the DVD NTSC templates to no avail. The files play in Windows Media Player, but in DVDit they either don't play or play only black and no audio. I sure would like to make this combination work, I think they are both great products and that they compliment each other perfectly. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Thought #1 : I've used VV3 and DVDIt! LE to make DVDs. They play fine on computer, but on a TV they play badly, because DVDIt! uses the wrong field order. This may be fixed in the newest version - I'm not sure.

Thought #2 : Try out DVD Complete. For my use, anyway, a much more complete and easy to use application than DVDIt! Chapter point, motion menus, the works. Free trial, and $99 for full package.

Every DVD I make comes from an MPEG2 file created within VV3 and authored using DVDit! PE. They look just like the MiniDV originals. I wouldn't necessarily blame DVDit - it could happen at other steps along the process.

Well, isn't this odd...

I can't preview any of the VV3 files in DVDit. There's 2 or 3 ways to preview and none of them show a thing. But, when I actually build the DVD folder everything looks great! The video-only stream is OK, the multiplexed stream is OK, everything's just lovely.

Now, I don't have to have previews in DVDit, I can work in the dark if necessary. But it would certainly be a nice bonus. Anyone else having this problem? And thanks for all your comments, I'm a newbie to DVD authoring so this is getting me up to speed in record time.

DVDit does a very poor job of playing files. I can usually start playing anywhere in the video but the display will stop moving after a few seconds. Doesn't effect the ending product, though.
