vv4 asks me for registration of mc plugin

i have the mainconcept standalone encoder installed
after installing vv4 i can't drag in any mpeg file. vv4 tells me my mc-plugin is not registered.
i thought mc-plugin is part of vv4.
so this can only be a problem with my pre-installed standalone version of the mainconcept encoder.
how can i solve this

please advise

thx

VV4 has the built in encoder, which must be registered to run. It's a seperate reg process from registering Vegas itself. Just register it and you'll be fine. (the MC Standalone is for use outside of an NLE program).

Também não consigo usar este plug-in, não consigo registrar meu vegas v.4
não consigo abrir arquivos mpeg. O que devo fazer?

Even translated it doesn't make sense:

Também não with himself to use this plug-in, não with himself to register meu fertile valleys v.4 não with himself to open arquivos MPEG. Or that devo to fazer?

Especially not sure about the "fertile valleys" part.

"vegas" is Spanish for "fertile valleys". From what i gather of this post http://www.sonicfoundry.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?MessageID=193872&Replies=3&Page=1, ssenal is trying to determine if Vegas includes the MainConcept MPEG encoders in the base price or not.
