VV4: Not seeing video files upon moving project

I have a folder with several captured video files, several wav files and a VV4 VEG file. I had them on my E drive but circumstances caused me to have to move them to my D drive. When I opened the VEG on my D drive, instead of asking to locate missing files, it pops up an error message stating to the effect that there was an error in opening the project, if I click detail, it tells me my files are missing (that message is repeated dozens of times in the detail box. The VEG opens and I get blank events, the only thing showing as normal are my WAV files. All the video files show normally when I play them as preview in explorer, not corrupted or anything.

What are my options here? Is there a way to go in by hand and tell it what files point to what?

Problem solved. Don't know what it was. Copied the whole folder back to E, and just as a lark I tried opening the copy on D and it opened no problem.

A little quirk, perhaps?

At a guess, the veg file being a project file will open anywhere. However, this veg file will have a directory set for the root media files which will be kept when you save a porject. In other words, you saved the project with files on E and when you moved them, the veg file went looking for the media files on E drive and couldn't find them...
make sense?
