Warning: An error occurred while writing a file.

I've got a project containing several short videos and a Music/Video Compilation. It fails DVD preparation with this error:

"Warning: An error occurred while writing a file. The reason for the error could not be determined."

If I remove the Music/Video Compilation it works fine. It actually works fine until I add the fourth .WAV file to the compilation. Naturally, this is the must-have feature that made me buy the software.

I have tons of free space (> 2Tb), so it's not that. I'm at a loss.

I'm on a Windows 7 64-bit system....

Have you resized all of your photos to no larger than 2000x1500 pixels in size before loading them into your compilation?

I've just had the same problem and had a Sony tech help me. I had to uninstall DVDA6 from my system and reinstall it as another user. It works now.

I'll check to see if I have any that large, and try this if I do. Thank you, Steve!

Al, can you tell me what you mean by "reinstall it as another user"? Can you explain your setup to me? Thank you!
