To ALL fellow Vegas users in the Washington/Baltimore/Northern VA area,
We have settled upon a date and place to hold the first Washington Baltimore Vegas User Group (WBVUG). In an effort to keep it accessible to everyone, we have decided to hold it at the food court at Union Station in Washington DC on Sunday, August 22nd at 4:00pm. The goal of this meeting would be to meet one another face to face in a casual environment to get to know one another, to talk about what productions we have done with Vegas, what our aspirations are as video/film makers, and to talk about what we all would like to get from forming this local Vegas user group. I think there are a lot of things we can do with the group and we would like to get everyone’s input. If you know of any other locations where we could meet in the future, please let me know. Please mark your calendars for Sunday, August 22nd at 4:00pm to meet at Union Station in Washington DC (www.unionstationdc.com). Union Station is accessible via the Red Line on the Washington DC Metro and via New York Ave from points North of DC. The food court is on the lower level. According to their web site they have over 100 places to eat so we should have no problem finding a place to chat.
Please pass the word to any other Vegas users you know and send me an email to let me know if you can make it to the meeting.
Once I get a good count of how many of us can make it, I will email more details as to how to find each other at Union Station.
