Wave Hammer and Acoustic Mirror not working in V5

(Cross posted from Vegas Audio forum to see if I can get a quicker response here...)

I just installed Vegas 5. (I also have Sound Forge 6 and with the Noise Reduction plugin.) Now my Wave Hammer and Acoustic Mirror plugins don't work in Vegas 5 - they say DEMO and they beep. They still work in Vegas 4 (which I still have installed); is there a way to get them to work in Vegas 5?

I see that there is a new Wave Hammer Surround in V5, and it works okay, but I want to get my other plug-ins working properly in V5.

Tried 'em all - no luck. Looked at the readme, and it says that there should be one called "Register Sonic Foundry DirectX Audio Plug-Ins" that looks like it could help but that tool doesn't exist on my system. I have a "Register SONY DirectX Audio Plug-ins" but not the other one.

I have Vega4 installed, and now Vegas 5; also Sound Forge 6 and Acid Pro 4.0. The plug-ins work fine in these apps, but seem to be demo only in Vegas 5.

My Noise Reduction 2 works fine in Vegas 5. So far, just Acoustic Mirror and Wave Hammer are in demo mode.

I had the same problem with other plugins. It seems to be caused by the change in name from Sonic Foundry to Sony. I had my XFX 3 Plug-In Pack change to demo mode between Sonic Foundry Vegas 4.0d and Sony Vegas 4.0e. Call Sony and let them know. They may have to give you new serial number to register the plugin in order to get it out of demo mode. That’s what they did for me.

If you look in the installation directory,

Program Files\Sony\Shared Plug-Ins\Utilities\Migration Tools

This is a migration tool and its associated read me html document. Have a read and follow what it says. If you have any questions, please contact our tech support as they can help you out here.
