Wave Hammer problems in CDA 5

Hmmm. . .hasn't anyone seen this????

I've used Wave Hammer with Vegas 3 and 4 and decided to try it with CDA 5. It seems to work fine BUT when I preview the meters in the Wave Hammer control dialog are way ahead of the sound. Doesn't seem to happen in Vegas and the Master meters don't have the problem in CDA. Have never had any latency issues on this machine. I can live with it, just kind of a strange annoyance.

Any help appreciated.

This is due to the playback buffering in CDA. All audio passing through the system is pre rendered. Bascially, the audio buffer size used will move any plugins meters forward in time relative to what you hear.

Is there a setting I could change? Is this something that might be fixed in a patch? Doesn't seem to happen in SF6 or V4, but maybe I just missed it.

Any help appreciated.
