I found this from what appears to be a jovial, likeable guy named Rednroll:
"Why don't you start to learn how to use the "search" function on these forums? there's a wealth of information on that subject. Here I've spent 5 minutes doing this for you. You'll get a much quicker response in less time spent. Cut and paste the lines below and you'll find a ton of good information. You know there's even a "Direct X plugins" forum. I think this might be a better place to post a message like this.

After reading all the search info, I purchased Izotrope Ozone...cost/value/quality for a young video production company. Thanks to all that contribute to these forums.

if you can afford them, i would highly recommend waves plug-ins. maybe the best available.

Universal Audio UAD1. Got the Waves stuff, but use these almost exclusively now, fantastic.

You really have to hear their compressors!

Just bought a second card, and their Cambridge EQ which is awesome! :o)

I'm about ready to pick up a UAD-1 but was holding off as I was hearing of problems using them with Vegas 4. Is yours stable now?
