Way OT: expand your Tivo to 1TB!

I know this is way off topic, but I figured a bunch of video fans also choose to watch TV on *their* schedule (not the networks!) & also appreciate recording HD vs SD. Below is a link to a Tivo Community page detailing various drive upgrade options for your Tivo Series 3, HD, or HD XL. I upgraded my Tivo HD internal drive from 160GB to 1TB, making my HD recording time from a paltry 20 hours to 157! Very good directions & even hard drive recommendations (probably important to follow for a 24/7 application). We don't watch *that* much TV, but I sure like HD over SD & I don't want Tivo deleting stuff because it's out of room.

Being out of reach of things like, well, wires of most kinds, I have satellite TV, which is not supported by TiVo HD. Fortunately, Dish Network has their own PVRs. I have a ViP622, which allows attachment of an external HDD. Currently, I have a 2TB drive attached, but unfortunately, it'll only see the first 1TiB worth of the drive... so far.
