go to start/run/ and typ msconfig then go to the startup tab and see if it is there. If it is uncheck it so that it does not start up when your computer starts up. when you reboot you should be able to uninstall it, but if that is not the case, go back and do the same thing again except this time start up in safe mode and go to add/remove programs and try to uninstall it.

Thank you, Jeremy, for your input!

What I wound up doing was finding the folder, changed the name of the ".exe" file to ".doc" and saved it. Rebooted the computer then I was able to manually delete the files and folders. Then I was able to remove the reference in the "Add or Remove" list. I ran Registry Mechanic and cleaned everything out of the registry.

That appears to have taken care of it.

I'm glad you got rid of it! I hate when your computer gets taken over by software and without a little bit of knowledge there is nothing that can be done!!!
For that reason, I have 2 computers that I use. 1 strictly for editing and the other for trying out other software before I install it on my editing machine to help aide in editing. Have a good day Jay.

Oh, yes! I do the samething. I'd never expose my editing computer to untried software. Far too dangerous for my taste!
