Does anyone know of or have a JVC RM-P200 CCU for a KY-19 camera? I have been nursing a failing one for two years and It finally can go no farther.
A little background. I teach at an inner city school with a number of kids who live in cars and extended stay motels. I have lost a number of students this year as their minimum wage earning parents have lost their incomes. Fund raising in our community is seldom successful.
We are blessed to have 5 PD-170 camcorders for field use and our old computers are still slugging along fine with SD material. Our weak spot will be the loss of a studio camera without a CCU for it.
If you have been following the news in Florida, education budgets are in desperate shape. Funding per student has dropped by one third. In our school district, we lost 1200 teachers last year and the estimate is approximately 3000 teachers this year. Going to my district for a replacement is out of the question. I am hoping that someone knows of one of these old units that is sitting on a self covered in dust or volcanic ash.
Any help would be appreciated.
You can see that these kids are worth the effort by viewing some samples of their work at http://intheoz.com
