Way to Lock to an axis when using PiP?

I might be overlooking a simple hotkey, but I am unable to move something locked to an axis when adjusting the position with the PiP effect. Is the only solution to type in the position via a number in the PiP effect or is there a hotkey I can hold down to lock it to either the X or Y axis?

@SnarfConsortium I don't think so, but if you turn on keyframes for Location & right click the X or Y keyframe - Set to - this pop-up shows with a slider that you can adjust in increments of 5 with the Ctrl+left/right arrow key.
