Just upgraded my live recording laptop to Win 7, and bought a Win 7 PC for the studio as well.
Vegas 7 was problematic with the new Op systems, so I upgraded to 9.
Now Vegas no longer recognizes my Sony DV camera when I go to dump via firewire.
Tried reboots and help files to no avail.
Ideas?
Also...am having a bug when recording audio.
This has happened at my last two sessions where I copying songs analog from a Mini-disc deck into vegas, so we can drop the keys for the singer.
After recording and saving a track, I delete the wav file from the timeline, and reuse the same input track for the next dub from the mini-disk.
When I arm the track to record, I will get a continuous "digital grunge" sound.
It seems to go away if I wait a few minutes, or will go away instantly if I "minimize" Vegas, then restore it.
Weird.
