I have a 7+ minute video in Vegas Movie Studion, captured from a DV camcorder. I want to render the video to something that can be streamed over the web or downloaded, so looking for fair resolution but not too large.

I figured .wmv was the way to go, and used the "Make Movie" wizard. The default template stated the estimated project size would be around 28 MB, but the finished product (after 45 minutes) was more like 280 MB.

Is this a bug, or do they use the word "estimated" as a real far fetched approximation? Any suggestings on settings for a 7 minute video?
