Wedding Part 2

A little while back I shot a friend's wedding.

I've finally got around to editing it, and I want to add a 'dreamlike' quality to some of the shots.

A bit of blurring, etc.

I would appreciate any clues on what plugins, track effects etc can be helpful, even some examples.

Up until now I've pretty much stuck to straight 'Getting DV onto DVD', but I want to expand.

Any hints, suggestions, guidance etc. appreciated.

might have something of use for you. Stonefield also has a nice tutorial on this on the Vegasusers.com site. (I think)

Try the Glow FX. This can be forced to use a colour to glow. Much used by Wedding Videographers is the Glow using white. You can use increase and decrese of intensity and the thrshold of when and how much this comes in. I've used it to "mask" a piece of out-of-focus that I really wanted. Of course others here only shoot infocus stuff! Right?

Try the Glow - you will be very pleasantly surprised. Very romantic!

If you have Vegas 6, the new version Ultimate S2 has three Romance FX and a Dreamy FX that might do what you want. Download the trial and see if you like what it does (It’s free to try)

Pixelan also has a filter called StepMotion in their SpiceFILTERS plug-ins for a dreamy look.
