What are .sfl files when rendering for QT ?

I notice I have some .sfl files after I do a QuickTime render.

What are these files? Backups?

I have the same thing when I render Mpeg-2 files, but only with a script. I've been wondering the same thing, I opened once up in notepad and it didn't seen to contain any useful info.

They contain the MARKER positions. For example, when rendering to MPEG2, DVDA will read the SFL file and use those markers at chapter points.
