What are the 3 audio FX plugins automatically applied to audio tracks?

Hello,

I've just noticed that when I add an audio track to my timeline, it automatically has 3 audio FX plugins on it. As someone who wants my rendered audio to be unmodified, I want to know if these plugins change the audio in any way. Should I remove them? Should I modify any of their settings?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

They don't affect the audio unless you modify the default fx adjustments

Oh right, that's good to know. So am I correct in saying that if I remove them, there will be no changes to the audio?

The reason I want to remove them is to reduce render time as much as possible.

They don't affect the render time either. But of course you also can remove them (and then save this as the default track property via the track header context menu).

Sounds great, I'll do that. Thanks for your help.

Those three plug-in have been inserted by default on new audio tracks going back as far far back as I can recall. However, the parameters are set to minimum, so that little to no processing takes place, as Marco stated. For instance, the compressor's ratio is set to 1:1, in which no gain reduction takes place. Personally, I change the default so none open, when I install or re-install VP.
